I found this guide to help you remove the GUID Ban without lossing your rank and restart at 0.
I dident make this post i just copied but there where replies that it worked for some so its worth a try.
Read closely:
-Backup players folder -Open the game -Take note of your key (you will need it if you mess up) -Change your Key -Join a cracked server -Exit to the main menu -Make sure your key is still the same as you typed in -Exit the game -Open your game
I'll say it again---- DO NOT CLOSE YOUR GAME B4 YOU JOIN A SERVER AFTER CHANGING YOUR KEY OR YOUR STATS WILL RESET!
If all went well then you kept your rank and changed your key. If you did smething wrong then you will now see a message that says your stats have been reset! At that point u need to change back to your old key and replace your players folder that you backed up and start all over.

ooo man i dont understand shit of windows vista !!!!!!!!!!!!! , all looks fine but no players map, had to search for 20 minutes and then i hit some button ?? and the entire folder changes and voila a players map appears .

now i see vista has a new option called compatability files and it only shows the folders you want to see when you press this button----> BRILLIANT .... who would like to see all information at once %-6

I have a problem. I copyed the "profile" folder from the cod4 dir. Then I uppgraded computer and switched to vista. After that I installed cod4 and copyed the "profle" folder back to the dir. but when i start Cod4 the game experience system change and resets my rank Kinda sucky ;P Was lvl 55

yep, i wish they had made it a lot harder to get to lvl 55,ive only played 5 hours on this new profile and im on lvl 41 already. :: The Only True Bagdaderian::

I dont have the cd-key that was used to get my rank! i believe I need that one to open the game with that profile?
